A Popeyes employee was caught laying his now notorious chicken sandwiches over a trash can ̵
1; which the owner has now taken full responsibility and corrected.
TMZ has got some pretty shocking pictures taken Friday at a Popeyes restaurant in Fairfax, VA – where it seems an employee behind the counter is quickly on the job of putting together as many sandos as possible. But it is done on top of a tray that is conveniently located at the top of a large garbage bin … and the layout was in the customer's line of sight.
The location raises many different questions – the obvious is. .. WHY? Not enough counter space? Not enough hands on deck? Too much demand? It turns out that was pretty much all of the above, according to the owner of this place.
The guy tells us that this particular day, the restaurant was overwhelmed after only being open for a few days, and then getting slammed with a 100 chicken sandwich order.
He says that when he saw the brand new staff using the garbage – which he claims was completely empty – he immediately ordered another table, which is in the store now. Of course, this is just the last eyebrow-lifting behavior that emerged in the last week or so since Popeyes reintroduced its viral sensation sandwich.
We already know that people have been losing their minds in several places nationwide over these things, with customers and employees coming to blows … and in it worst event was some deadly stabbed.
