Pier 1 Import to close dozens of stores

(CNN) – Pier 1 Imports has announced a new financial plan for 2020 to its investors and that it will close many stores then.

The decor says that it is considered closing up to 45 places, in addition to the 30 stores it has already closed.

There is no word on how many employees this can affect

The company says that even more places can see the doors closed if performance and sales targets are not met.

On Wednesday – investors learned that up to 15 percent of the remaining stores could end up with the cutter block.
