Pfizer’s Omicron-targeted Covid-19 vaccines generate stronger immune response

Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech SE vaccines modified to target the Omicron variant provided a significantly greater immune response than the companies’ available vaccine in one study, they said.

A modified booster shot aimed at Omicron specifically increased the levels of neutralizing antibodies 13.5 to 19.6 times higher than the current shot of study volunteers one month after administration, depending on the dose, the companies said on Saturday.
