Payless will close all remaining stores in the United States; Liquidation Sale to Start Sunday

Payless's ShoeSource fights all of its 2,100 remaining US and Puerto Rico stores, and joins a list of iconic names such as Toys R Us and Bon-Ton who have been shuttered lately year.
Topeka, Kansas-based chain said Friday that it will hold liquidation sales start Sunday and settle its e-commerce. All stores remain open until the end of March, and the majority remain open until May.
The debtor chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in April 2017 and closes hundreds of stores as part of the reorganization. 19659008] At that time, there were over 4,400 stores in more than 30 countries.
