An employee of Panera Bread said on Twitter that she was fired after recording a Tik Tok video that revealed how the restuarant makes her mac and cheese.
Today, former employee Brianna Ramirez uploaded the shocking video on Tik Tok's social media platform with the caption “expose Panera.” The footage shows a person picking up a sealed bag containing mac and cheese and placing it in a professional boiler after removing the bag. After the food is done, the food is poured into a bowl which was then served.
The video currently has 300,000 likes along with 3000 comments. Ramirez retweeted the video on his page with the headline "lol I lost my job for this video."

A spokesperson from Panera said the mac and cheese were already prepared and shipped in frozen containers.
“Mac and cheese is made on the spot with our own developed recipe developed by our chefs and using our ingredients that meet our standards for our clean menu offerings. It is sent frozen to our bakery cafes ̵[ads1]1; this allows us to avoid using preservatives that do not meet our clean standards. ”
