Panasonic Corporation in China has not suspended the business with Huawei and continues to deliver the Chinese firm normally, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
Huawei has long been an important partner for the company, said the statement, adding that Panasonic will continue to deliver products and services to Huawei and other Chinese companies.
Earlier on Thursday, the media in Japan said that Panasonic has stopped business transactions with Huawei and its subsidiaries covered by the US ban.
Last week, Washington put the Chinese technology business on its trading blacklist, blocking it from buying US company components.
