Ocean State Job Lot has acquired seven former Toys "R" Us locations, including three in Pennsylvania, marking the 41-year-old North Kingstown company's first venture in that state.

When the stores are opened, the privately owned retail bank will have 140 stores in nine states
Ocean State Job Lot bought six of the sites and rents the seventh, according to a press release from the company.
Ocean State Job Lot is currently operating stores in all New England states, plus New Jersey and New York.
In addition to Pennsylvania, the company will add stores in New York, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
In Massachusetts, Ocean State rents a shop at 492 State Rd., North Dartmouth. It also bought a store at 1[ads1]05 Campanelli Industrial Drive, Brockton.
The locations in Pennsylvania are Montgomeryville, Scranton and Wilkes-Barre.
Shops will also open in Salem, New Hampshire and Nanuet, New York. Ocean State has about 5,000 employees and annual sales of over $ 675 million.
