Tesla is basically an engineering company. The company that we know today was founded on the building blocks of lithium-ion batteries and electric motors. Elon Musk had an early interest and exposure to supercapacitors, so the potential of lithium ion and electric motors, and finally he found the golden combination he was looking for on AC Propulsion.

AC Propulsion's tZero gave interest and eventually convinced Musk to invest, invest and invest again in what eventually became Tesla. He was the most critical item and the investor kept it afloat as the company worked to move from prototype to production of the original Tesla Roadster. The fuel for the first car was not gasoline, nor diesel, nor even electrons ̵[ads1]1; it was innovation. Yes, Tesla Motors (now only ) Tesla would never have moved an inch, but for the electrifying power that enlightened the creators' hearts and minds to make the company exist.

Every step Tesla took was the result of a relentless push to birth, not just a new car, but a whole new generation of cars that it thought had potential to to change the world, to save humanity from itself. Electrification disconnected from the car from the quintessential drainage hose. By eliminating the emissions from the car itself, cleaner air can immediately and even less pollution as renewable energy is gradually generated into the grid and cleans up the footprint of all vehicles that draw power from the grid over time.

Tesla saw and still sees electric cars as the next inevitable step in the development of transport. We have to move away from final fossil fuels because we have to run out. We cannot continue to consume with the prices we are currently, since we simply do not have enough extractable resources for it. Electrifying transport brings with it the promise of taking us a big step towards a cleaner, more sustainable future for everyone – and a safer and sustainable economy.

Furthermore, catastrophic climate change is inevitable at this point. The only question left on the table is about how bad it gets. How high will the oceans rise? How hot is the new heat? How Many Millions Will Be Offset? Will we be able to grow enough food? These questions are important reminders of why we do what we do here on CleanTechnica and why Tesla does what it does. They are basic questions that we should all ask ourselves, just as reminders that the world is changing because of our actions.

Elon Musk addressed the challenge of attacking catastrophic climate change with Tesla, thus injecting his "first principles" approach to solving problems, starting each problem-solving adventure by distilling the problem down to the root cause. Once the problem's legs are laid, solutions can be assembled, arranged and orchestrated a LEGO brick at a time. Each step forward must be verified and monitored to ensure that it really is a step forward and moves the team closer to the best possible solution.

In this world there are no sacred cows, no part of the car, part of the battery, or part of the team that is out of mockery. Everything is looked at with a critical eye, or even better, several pairs of critical eyes. It is this vicious cycle of tearing down and reassembling moving forward, resulting in the best solution to a problem.

For example, if we start with the assumption that a car has a motor under the hood or that it must have a steering wheel, we may miss the greatest opportunity to improve the vehicle. Maybe it's better to put the engines inside each wheel? Maybe cars should now or soon be designed to pass the wheel or at least make it easy to remove? Tesla has built a company on top of a bunch of broken legs of the auto industry's premise by normally redefining every step of the way.

Electric cars are not fun? This is! They can't go more than a few miles per charge? Our can. They look weird? If weird means fantastic, we count. Charging takes forever. Check out our nano chargers. Driving an electric car is as much fun as driving a toaster down the road. We put the batteries in the floor plate, called it a skateboard (now everyone does it), and the handling is amazing! The list continues and lasts only longer.

] If we start with the premise that the world will eventually move oil because there is only so much down there, something must replace it. Tesla has established itself as the leading manufacturer of next-generation electric vehicles by continuing to follow the next thing. When the company built the Roadster, the model S was next. X followed. And then the next big step – a 35,000 long-distance electric car. Tesla dropped that bomb a few weeks ago, and quickly followed it up with Act Two of this game, the Model Y Reveal.

The speed Tesla moves is unparalleled. No other car manufacturer is moving at the speed at which Tesla is moving. The difference is the approach it takes for engineering and innovation. At Tesla, the two are intertwined in a corporate culture that gives each employee a need to improve, to get faster, to become cheaper, and to do the best, no matter what.

Seats? Check. Motors? Yep. Batteries? Still better. Converters, wires, suspension, user interface, interior design, door handle, ceiling, windshield, center console, cup holder? Yes, Tesla is an animal in terms of innovation and the automotive industry. The company's insatiable desire to improve in all areas continues to drive Tesla to new heights and push its products to the top of their fields.

Look at security. Most car manufacturers are not talking about safety because it is not a priority, but it sucks. Why is it not important to protect the people inside the car? Hey, wait a minute, I'm usually the person in the car. You go! It's one of the not so sexy parts of the car that we just don't want to pay more for. Active security features are usually tucked into one of the higher trim packages reserved for buyers with cash pockets. It's not me. Never been, and probably will never be.

Therefore, I love the fact that Tesla engineers their cars are the safest vehicles out there. The Tesla models S, X and 3 are all at the top of their respective categories in safety, with the Model S being so safe that it actually broke a damned safety test machine, as if to say it so ugly that "I" I'm so confident that I literally break the security scale. "Tesla's basic approach to safety in not only vehicle engineering and design, but also in its innovative software, which has re-baselined safety throughout the automotive industry. It has customers who ask," Is your car as safe as a Tesla? " A new bar has been set and Tesla is the top dog in terms of car safety.

Security is another convincing reason for buyers to choose Tesla. Do you want the most environmentally friendly car? Tesla. Want the safest car for your family? Tesla, looking for the best autonomous vehicle technology? Tesla. What about the car and the company with the best, fastest public charging system? Tesla. The most intuitive, technologically advanced user interface? ? Fastest 0-60 time? The car everyone else copies? The car with the best built-in games? Yes … the list goes on, but we will not drill you with the details (here at least).

Tesla has no Early Science and Innovation that goes through the years of its corporate culture

These innovations stem from a culture that cannot stop, will not stop. Tesla engineers push relentlessly, continuously, for better products, and these innovations not only make a carton to die in any business conference room they do in most traditional companies. Instead, they are tested, discovered, improved and integrated into Tesla's vehicles, seats, batteries and energy products. It's radical, freaking impressive.

Tesla plugged its intent into basic belief that the products can be much better than they are and continue to plow larger and larger investments into that belief. Almost every year it has existed, which has increased production production by 50% compared to the previous year. Last year, Model 3 finally came a lot. Model Y is next. Then Tesla Semi and Tesla Pickup.
