Nominations open in Iowa’s best tenderloin competition
What’s the best breaded tenderloin sandwich in Iowa? Nominations are opened in an annual competition.
The competition to choose the year̵[ads1]7;s best breaded tenderloin sandwich is now open. The Iowa Pork Producers Association is asking the public to nominate their favorite tenderloin for its annual contest. Tenderloin fans have until June 5 to nominate what they think is the best version of the iconic Iowa sandwich at iowapork.org. IPPA will then judge the top 40 nominations – five each from the organization’s eight districts – to determine the top five, which will be announced in September, with a winner announced in October to recognize National Pork Month.
