Nissan, Mitsubishi Say Ghosn received $ 8.9 million in error payments

TOKYO-Nissan Motor Co. and Mitsubishi Motors Corp said on Friday that Carlos Ghosn, the former chairman of both companies, received what they described as miscalculations totaling 7.8 million euros from a Dutch entity owned by the two companies.

Mitsubishi said that Mr. Ghosn received the money between April 2018 and November 2018 after signing an employment contract with Nissan-Mitsubishi BV, a joint venture of 50-50 in June 2017.
