Nike no longer sells its products on Amazon. In a statement this week, the company said they will focus on "more direct and personal relationships with customers."
The two companies first signed a deal in 2017, but now Nike is investing in its own online stores and other business relationships.
"We will continue to invest in strong, distinctive partnerships for Nike with other retailers and platforms to seamlessly serve our consumers globally," Nike said in a statement.
Analysts believe that the decision to leave Amazon may have involved Amazon selling counterfeit goods. Nike has been one of the company's best-selling brands and is reportedly not happy with the number of counterfeit sellers and products that still exist on the site.
Nike said the items are still available for purchase on their own company website.
