A newborn baby was found dead Wednesday in a bath at an Amazon district in Phoenix, police said.
The Phoenix Police Department and fire officials responded to the Amazon building after calling for the newborn at 8:30 am MST (1[ads1]0:30 pm ET). The child was found in a woman's toilet and declared dead on stage, police said.
No other information was released.
"This is a very sad and tragic event," Amazon said in a statement and added that they are working with the police to investigate.
