Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) reopened Saturday morning after an "airport emergency" stopped all air traffic on the New Jersey Air Hub for almost an hour.
Reps for EWR announced the news on Twitter at 8:46. am, encourage travelers to "check with the carrier before they arrive at the airport."

Witnesses tweeted as an aircraft, perhaps an emergency landing, was seen on the asphalt surrounded by emergency benefits, according to NJ.com.
