More than 300 flights delayed, canceled at PHL airport due to weather

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Severe weather heading northeast Sunday affecting air traffic, including at Philadelphia International Airport.

As of 1 p.m., 146 flights have been delayed and 162 flights canceled, according to FlightAware. Inbound flights are delayed an average of two hours, according to the flight tracking website.

American Airlines sees the biggest impact, with 25% of flights canceled and 15% delayed.

Nationwide, nearly 20,000 flights have been delayed Sunday and approximately 1,400 flights have been canceled.
