A Mega Millions ticket holder matched all six numbers to win the lottery̵[ads1]7;s $476 million jackpot Friday night and found gold at a NYC convenience store.
The winning numbers were 23, 27, 41, 48 and 51 with Mega Ball of 22. Megaplier was 2x.
The ticket was sold at Liberty Beer & Convenience in Ozone Park, Queens, according to the New York Lottery, and is the 13th largest prize in lottery history.
The cash option is estimated to be $253.1 million as the convenience store will receive $10,000 for selling the ticket.
Millionaire hopefuls have a 1-in-302,575,350 chance of hitting the Mega Millions jackpot, according to the lottery.
Two tickets — one in Illinois and one in Massachusetts — matched the five white balls to win $1 million each.
Seventeen tickets matched four numbers plus the Mega Ball for a $10,000 prize including one from New York.
It is Mega Millions’ first jackpot winner since a $31 million winning ticket was sold in Massachusetts on January 31.
The Massachusetts win capped a record month for the lottery when the jackpot was won four times, including the second-biggest winner in lottery history when a Maine gas station sold the $1.35 billion ticket sold Jan. 13.
Jerson Garcia of the Bronx won $20 million four days later on January 17.
The next draw is set for Tuesday, April 18 with the current starting pot set at $20 million.
