Someone shot and killed a mailman Friday night while he was delivering letters in Milwaukee, police officials and the United States Postal Service confirmed. The fatal shooting Friday happened at 65th Street and West Lancaster Ave. An email from Milwaukee Police said the victim was in his forties and had more than 18 years of service. “The postal worker in this killing was a public servant, which makes this crime even more disturbing,” Mayor Cavalier Johnson said through a spokesperson, “Criminals responsible for death and injury in our city must be held accountable.
