Covid-19 test sites across the Metro had long queues after the holidays. KETV Newswatch 7’s Alex McLoon spent the morning talking to people who waited for hours to be tested at Oakview Mall, where there was one lane for the long queue of cars. Nomi Health said that the generator, which keeps testing components at the right temperature and provides power, ran out of gas – which contributed to the delay. Across Nomi Health’s three Omaha COVID-19 test sites – Oakview, Metro Community College North campus and MCC South campus – an average of 1,000 people were tested per day last week.
Covid-19 test sites throughout the Metro had long queues after the holidays.
KETV Newswatch 7’s Alex McLoon spent the morning talking to people who waited for hours to be tested at Oakview Mall, where there was one lane for the long queue of cars.
Nomi Health said that the generator, which keeps testing components at the right temperature and provides power, ran out of gas – which contributed to the delay.

“It’s definitely a busy time,” said Nomi Health spokeswoman Reece Ristau.
