Local customers respond to San Antonio airport which prohibits Chick file A

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX) – Is Chick-fil-A discriminated against its religious views? That's the question Texas lawyer Ken Paxton is asking now after the fast food restaurant was banned from San Antonio International Airport.

At the end of March, the San Antonio City Council voted to remove plans for the restaurant to be at the airport because of what they call the company's legacy of anti-LGBTQ behavior.

It's a moving customer at College Station saying they're surprised.

"Too many times you've heard about Chick-fil-A attitude to everything, and the fact that they actually do something about it now is shocking to me and in a place like Texas," said Madison Brast, a college station resident.

"The fact that people from all religions come to Chick-fil-A because of their quality food and customer service, I think it would maintain the reason why it would be there, so it's a bit shocking and interesting to hear," said Heather Gonzalez, a college station resident.
