Let's be honest – it's a campaign to push Elon out … to hurt Tesla

After certain topics professionally or simply obsessively, you can choose patterns in messages. The important thing about the message is that it is conscious. It is repetitive, frequent if possible, and focused on achieving a desired result influenced by image or perception. The target group can be the entire population, or it can be a specific subgroup of the population. Heck, it may even be a person (if you simply aim to send a message to the president via the TV.)

Some messages are moving through the amount of organic – whether intentionally seeded or not – but long-term Messages about very specific topics are often intentionally targeted.

What is interesting is when you have two completely different messages that fight it day after day. We will not enter into the entire Trump-Russia cooperation (" 102 contacts and 28 meetings between the Trump campaign / transition team and the Russians ") as opposed to no conversations (lol) debate, but all is one a prime example of dramatically different messages in war with each other over a long period. In the case of Tesla, the fascinating link "Elon is absolutely wonderful" message against "Elon is a scam that succeeds in nothing and should go down from the Tesla" message.

Elon Musk has risen to a special kind of heroic level among millions of fans from Tesla and SpaceX (not sure there are many PayPal fanatics out there even though there are many happy users). He is the face of a generation trying hard to stop the global warming crisis, or perhaps the face of a few generations. He is also a rare face of extreme innovation and disturbance in exciting industries. More than the CEOs of almost all other major companies, Elon Musk is the face of Tesla and SpaceX. (The only similar examples I can remember are Mark Zuckerberg on Facebook, Bill Gates at Microsoft, Steve Jobs at Apple, Richard Branson at Virgin, and George Foreman at George Foreman Grill … wait, what? ) People who love Tesla and SpaceX with love and support Elon Musk.

On the flip side there have been attacks after attack on Elon Musk by a number of stock analysts (who are often short Tesla, not long ago Tesla), high-moon TSLA short sellers, members of the finance / business press (including New York Times Unfortunately, Twitter trolls, sketchy investment blogs, and all attack organizers think they can take on the trip. As part of that, there is an incessant "worry trolling" that happens in Elon Musk critics who let them see that Tesla is successful and that everything would go perfectly if only Elon were to go.

Of course it is a total absurdity for most of us who follow Tesla closely and who have invested in Tesla (I have). First of all, you have to break out of the bubble that short sellers and other lubricants have framed for us and realize that Tesla is actually a fantastic success story. You must either say that Elon Musk had planned things out much better than critics assumed or he succeeded at all odds time after time. Anyway, the man deserves some absurd props, which is why millions of people give him these props.

Elon is great at recognizing tens of thousands of employees who do the daily work that actually makes Tesla amazing. No doubt, they deserve praise and respect. Anyone who makes Tesla a good company and helps to create, sell or serve such great products deserves some recognition for making its own brand on the world. I recently toured Tesla offices and factories and gave my own personal thanks to many employees for their service in the community, but it was tens of thousands I obviously missed.

All this said, a good company needs a good leader. A company that achieves "the impossible" – not even, twice, but dozens of times – certainly has a leader with exceptional leadership skills, strategic genius, and business areas. This dirt does not happen if the head is not on the animal.

(Sorry to be colorful for a moment, but sometimes it is necessary to highlight a point.) But the point should be obvious now – Tesla is what it is (including a tremendous success) largely because by its CEO. Shareholders know this. If Elon Musk died or left Tesla tomorrow, the stock price would collapse because many investors are betting on Tesla because they are betting on Elon (Ron Baron is among this category investor by the way).

Nevertheless – or indeed because of it – it has been a long-term messaging strategy in order to smear Elon Musk. Some of this has been definitely revealed, with certain right organizations setting up smear sites to dirty Elon's image, for example. But much of it glides through without revealing your hand, and just becomes a little clear when you look at the patterns. Tesla critics, Tesla short sellers, and Elon haters want Elon out. Sometimes, instead of being sucked into the story, just realize and recognize it.

This whole article was triggered by a headline I saw a few hours ago on Google News: "Elon Musk's Days that Tesla CEO could be numbered: JPMorgan Analyst." statement. It was not triggered by one headline – it was triggered by hundreds of similar headlines and statements, or thousands of them. Yes, some banks, some investment funds, some short sellers and some car competitors would like to see an end date on Elon Musk's role as CEO of Tesla. It is clear. Tesla destroys investments in other auto companies, in oil companies, and in hedge fund games against Tesla. If they can make small molehills (certain tweets) such as mountains and avalanches, they can attempt to shift the messages away from Elon Musk & # 39; s heroism and to a much darker picture of Elon. They use every opportunity they can to do this. And it has been effective. Many common people consume and digest the message, which has definitely reduced sales and investment in Tesla. But the ultimate goal is not just to reduce Tesla's growth – it is to destroy Tesla. It seems that it was decided a while back that an attempt to destroy Tesla would go through Tesla's head, the secret master plan mastermind himself, Elon Tusk.

I was not in the meeting where this part of the plan hatched, but I think it is clear from the comments about Elon and the media coverage of Elon over the past couple of years that he was approaching avenue to attack Tesla. It has become like a giant ad hominem. Deflect attention from Tesla's successes and disturbances by attacking a sometimes sensitive, quirky human being. Hit him like a miserable, troubled man, and then act as if the entire Tesla era is resting on his shoulders by a stumbling, loopy scam. I know very good people, smart people, and concerned people who have bought that story, whose thoughts about Tesla and Elon are within the frame. The question is how far it all goes.

Except for having hit an annoyingly effective messaging campaign, what is the point of departure in this article? It is: Don't let the lubrication campaign affect you . Don't buy into the daily anti-Elon hype and professional messaging campaign aimed at taking him down. It does not serve any useful purpose for society.
