Lawsuits brought by Cook County teen against Juul are dismissed

Christian Foss, 19, had alleged in a lawsuit filed in federal court in Chicago on Monday that Juul, along with Philip Morris USA and Philip Morris parent company Altria, designed and marketed e-cigarettes to appeal to young people. He started using Juul e-cigarettes when he was 16 and became addicted to them, the lawsuit states. He had planned to seek class action status for the lawsuit.
