Journey Church interrupts community Easter eggs after 13 years

Bozeman, Mont. – Journey Church will not host an Easter hunt this year after 13 years of tradition.

Last year, thousands of people gathered at Bobcat Stadium to collect eggs that were covered throughout the field, but that won't be the case this year.

On the travel church website, it stated that the hunt was first started over ten years ago to show society that Journey loves and serves them.

The pastor continued to say that the church had reflected and decided not to host the hunt and instead pursue other ways to love and serve the community.

Bozeman's Parks & Recreation Department will host an egg hunt at 1

pm Saturday, April 20 at Lindley Park.
