JM Smucker is recalling some Jif peanut butter products due to salmonella
The company said that the peanut butter was sold all over the country and the recall includes more than 45 types of products. They have party codes between 1274425 and 2140425, the company said in a statement. The lottery code is next to the “best if used by” date on the product packaging.
They touched The products include both creamy and crunchy peanut butter, peanut butter to-go packs and natural squeeze bag.
Customers should throw the product immediately if it is included in the recall, which is carried out with the US Food and Drug Administration.
JM Smucker said it is unable to estimate the financial impact of the recall for the fiscal year ending April 30 or the current fiscal year 2023, but will provide that information when available.
