Jet slides off the runway at the Hare International Airport, no one injured
Snowy conditions were accused of a plane sliding off a runway at the Hare International Airport shortly after landing late on Saturday morning.
Due to weather conditions, United Airlines aircraft 656 rolled from Phoenix to Chicago by concrete surface, according to airline spokeswoman Natalie Noonan.
No one was injured, but firefighters helped 129 passengers out of the plane after it had gone into a grassland, said Chicago Fire Deputy Chief Curtis Hudson.
It happened during the planned landing of the aircraft.
A bus took customers to the terminal, Noonan said.
