LONDON (Reuters) ̵
An all-electric version of its XJ luxury salon will be the first of three new cars to be made from a common skeleton followed by a sports utility vehicle, the newspaper said.
The company could not be immediately reached for comments late on Saturday.
The move will be a rare bright spot for the UK automotive industry that has been hit by job cuts, closing remarks and declining sales in recent months related to tumbling demand for diesel cars and Brexit uncertainty.
