Jackpot of $ 750 million, fourth largest in American history, at stake in the Powerball lottery

(Reuters) – A $ 750 million jackpot, the fourth largest in American history and the second astronomical jackpot this week will be at stake during the Powerball drawing on Saturday.

The drawing will be held at 11.00 EST.

It comes after a ticket sold in South Carolina matched all six numbers Tuesday in the US's second main lottery Mega Millions to win a $ 1.537 billion jackpot, as short as world record.
