Huawei Oak OS Android Option Comes With Mate 30?

Although his name may have changed, the rest of the information is pretty much the same. It was at the beginning of last week that we heard for the first time about Huawei's potential Android replacement or alternative, when a trademark file of the company was uncovered for software called Ark OS. After Google had no choice but to comply with the US ban and suspend Huawei's Android license, reports about an alternative operating system that could keep the Chinese phones on the market began.
Now, a new report suggests that the alternative operating system will not be called the Ark OS, but rather the Oak OS internationally, and the HongMeng OS in China. The same report claims it will be launched in August or September, referring to non-named sources, dates that may coincide more or less with the official launch of the Mate 30 series of phones. This media event has historically occurred during this time frame, so if the status quo remains unchanged, we can see the first Mate phone to officially run a homebrew or modified version of Android based on AOSP.
#Huawei is intensively testing its own operating system, being called "HongMeng OS" for the China market or "Oak OS" for overseas market, which is likely to be launched in August or September, sources say. https://t.co/hqA7JJdjjS
