Harley-Davidson temporarily pulls plug on electric motorcycle production

A charging problem has caused Harley-Davidson to temporarily idle production of his LiveWire electric motorcycle.

The company is conducting tests to investigate the problem in what is seen as a major setback for the motorcycle manufacturer, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The company has not said when production will resume.

Harley looked at the electric bike to help rejuvenate sales.

The company asked customers and dealers to use only a professional type of charger that is available at their dealers instead of electrical outlets at home.

The bike trade for $ 30,000 is still safe to get rid of.

LiveWire owners had been able to charge their bikes using their standard wall outlet, although a charge can take 10 hours.
