Google's antitrust investigation allegedly extends to Android

Tonight CNBC reports that an ongoing antitrust investigation by Google conducted by 50 attorneys is generally expanding. While it started by looking at Google's advertising business, it has, as expected, expanded the scope to include search and the Android platform. Over the years, Google has reached out to several services ̵[ads1]1; next time: to check – and platforms with ever deeper ties to each other, and as the survey relates to the use of customer data, it seems obvious that it will reach every part of the company eventually.

The 48 state AG authorities, as well as two representing Washington DC and Puerto Rico, did not comment on the latest report, while Google said in a September blog post that it would cooperate with investigations.
