Genesis reveals the Mint concept EV for urban fashionistas
Before the New York Internal Auto Show Genesis unveiled its Mint Concentration Car. The small two door EV was of course green. But it's styling and short wheelbase makes it perfect for urban environments where you'll be judged for your fashion and style choices. I reckon that.
Genesis says the small car will have an estimated area of 200 miles and will support fast charging up to 350kW. It's a concept car, so these numbers are kind of made up. But they could be a good indicator of a potential small EV that the automaker could introduce in a few years. In addition, if you just drive around the city, you don't really need more than 200 kilometers, and if a car supports 350kW charge, it goes in and out quickly from a charging station.
The coin itself will probably never see the light of day, but in a the world where electrical crossings become the norm, it is nice to see a narrow I two-seater is in the minds of some car manufacturers.
