FTC investigates marketing practices of e-cigarette maker Juul: WSJ



The Federal Trade Commission is investigating the marketing practices of e-cigarette maker Juul Labs inc, the Wall Street Journal reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

REUTERS: Federal Trade Commission investigates the marketing practices of e-cigarette maker Juul Labs inc, reported The Wall Street Journal on Thursday quotes people familiar with the matter.

FTC investigators are looking into whether Juul engaged in deceptive marketing, including targeting minors or using influencers, and also decides whether to seek financial damages, according to the report.

Juul did not immediately respond to Reuters request for comment.
