Friendly restaurant closes Seekonk location

SEEKONK, Mass. (WPRI) – Add Friendly to Seekonk to the list of restaurants that have closed recently.

Chain Route 6 location is set up and the sign is covered with plywood.

Friendly is confirmed by a statement that the location is closed for good sunday.

"Be sure we are transferring many team members to other nearby locations and giving cards instead of notice, for the few who want to find new opportunities in the area," said the statement.

According to ] Friendlys website still has chains in North Providence, Attleboro, Swansea and Fall River.
