Ford's & # 39; Mustang-inspired & # 39; electric SUV teased ahead of the November debut

The mysterious Ford "Mustang-inspired" electric SUV has a debut date, folks, and in the process the carmaker gave us our best look at what to expect from the vehicle's design. On Thursday, Ford released a new teaser picture and announced the electric SUV will debut Nov. 17 – a day before the media invades the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2019. Apart from the photo and debut date, the car manufacturer gave zero further details.

Prior to the car manufacturer's announcement, Ford actually pulled out a clever campaign on social media as well.

Over the past 24 days, 10 Instagram users posted photos on their individual accounts teasing something big that comes from Ford with the hashtag #ElectricAndUntamed. In each post, graffiti easily flashes around a person. It doesn't seem like much to begin with, but when you sew them all together, we are treated to the side profile of the Mustang-inspired SUV.

Cool Hunting first reported on the teaser campaign on Thursday and after combining all the puzzles brings us together, it's clear that this electric SUV definitely sports Mustang-style signals. Ford's teaser image minus Instagram users reinforces what we see in social media.

The front appears to mimic the same angular and sharp light construction as the Mustang and the tri-element taillights are also alive. However, the roof goes off with a sharp spoiler on top of it before it flows into what looks like an elegant hatch area.

The finer details are still a mystery, but this is the best look we've got of the electric SUV so far. The only other image Ford has given since the confirmation of the vehicle is a single shady teaser of the rear end of the Mustang-inspired SUV.

Ford is also quiet on all other fronts, with the only public detail being the automaker's goal to produce the SUV with a EPA-estimated 300-mile range . Earlier this week, after Ford announced a partnership with Electrify America to help set up its FordPass Charging Network the charging station operator may have slipped into a few other details.

With this teaser now out in the open, all we have to do is wait. Surely, Ford will share more in the coming weeks. Color us very fascinated by the car manufacturer's EV with ties to the most iconic car.
