Ford drops an electric blue-ish Mustang teaser at Tesla's festivities
Just as Tesla's planned model Y revealed the kick Ford (the company Elon Musk killed his S-E-X-Y naming system by blocking the model E name) had something to show the people. It didn't give any details at all, but this curious colored Mustang logo looks like a tip on electrification that comes to one of the few cars Ford still does.
It may be a nod to the Mach 1[ads1] / "Mach-E" electrical performance SUV due in 2020 with a name hijacked from a well-known Mustang, which is related to a hybrid Mustang in the works, or perhaps both ?
Ford confirmed to Autoblog ] as a hybrid Mustang set for release in 2020, showed a coupe with a similarly colored logo in one of its ads and could improve its "EcoBoost" turbocharged engines by adding for some batteries. With the fast model Y slated to go on sale at the end of 2020, the prospect is for further competition an exciting one.
