Facebook Libra loses another member as the council becomes official
PayPal, eBay, Mastercard, Visa and Stripe were some of the most prominent companies to withdraw, and each of them left a few days in a row.
Not that Facebook is discouraged. Libra Association political leader Dante Disparte told Reuters that departures were a "correction" and "not a setback." The outfit also hinted at the number of potential members who could fill the shoes of the exciting partners, noting that about 1[ads1]80 units met the original membership requirements.
The formalization suggests that the association should be more stable going forward, and the remaining 21 members still have significant cravings. Nonetheless, Facebook is not likely to make progress on Libra – and that is before it faces some of the most intense government cooperation.
