Facebook F8 develops conference Day 1: How to watch live
The last three years have not been easy for the world's largest social network. Facebook has been obsessed with scandals, mainly caused by self-inflicted wounds and years of negligent behavior.
On Tuesday, the company will try to map a path ahead. It is expected to discuss new ideas about messaging services, photo sharing, artificial intelligence and more.
It is a good bet that CEO Mark Zuckerberg will overwrite the event, which he has for each of the company's previous conferences. Last year, he discussed new ideas about dating apps using AI to undertake harassment and a new "clear story" tool to increase people's privacy . This year, among other things, there is a sure effort that the company will announce the launch date of its latest VR headset, Oculus Rift S and Oculus Quest both of which cost $ 399.
When it starts [1[ads1]9659005] Facebook's developer conference starts on Tuesday 30 April at 10.00 PT (1 pm ET). It continues on Wednesday May 1 with another keynote at the same time.

What to Expect
It's a good bet you'll hear a mixture of techno-optimism and some recognition that despite intense years "Facebook had before 2018's F8 conference, this seems to have been even more crazy.
