NEW YORK (Reuters) – WeWork owner The We Company may seek a valuation in the upcoming public offering of between $ 10 and $ 12 billion, a dramatic discount to the $ 47 billion valuation it obtained in January, people said on Friday.

The considerations indicate that WeWork does not feel confident that corporate governance changes as it was unveiled on Friday will be enough to admire investors concerned about the lack of a path to profitability.

The sources warned that no decision has been taken and asked not to be identified because the case is confidential. WeWork did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
