Elon Musk moves up for clinical trials on humans over Brain Chip Tech

Elon Musk seems ready to start putting microchips in people̵[ads1]7;s brains, because his company aims to do just that is to hire … to have someone who can lead clinical trials. ?
The richest man on earth has a company called Neuralink, which aims to treat people with neurological diseases and ailments – such as paralysis – and make them move again… or more specifically help them move things without anything but the power in their minds.
It’s a fascinating field, and Neuralink is trying to break through here with technology that will go straight into people’s skulls … which they seem to be approaching now, as the company is currently hiring a clinical trial director .. … one who will probably work with people.
Until now, Neuralink’s brain chip studies have been limited to monkeys and pigs – and based on the results they have shown, it seems to be as magical as it is hyped.
Take, for example, this macaque, which Neuralink says had one of their pieces implanted. In the video, it looks like the primate is using a joystick to play a video game that tests hand-eye coordination – but soon you realize that it does everything with your mind … because the control lever is not connected to anything. It is simply there to act as a fake-out for the animal.
That’s what Elon and co. want to do for people who have lost the function of their hands or legs – based on their vision, these people will be able to control electronics (like phones and such) without anything but a thought, and at lightning speed as well. They’ve even talked about being able to download memories … not just in your notebook, but as … to robots and stuff.
The possibilities, they say, are endless.
Now everything was teased a couple of years ago, but now that Neuralink is actively hiring a clinical trial leader and coordinator – it seems that they are on schedule for Elon’s timeline … the guy said he wanted to make chips a reality – life noodles once this year.
The job description for the position, based in Fremont, California, promises that the applicant will “work closely with some of the most innovative doctors and top engineers” as well as with “Neuralink’s first clinical trial participants” https://t.co / AHKOQgnHCE pic.twitter.com/jRInDsvfbB

@company
You can read listings for yourself to see who exactly they are looking for – but it is obvious that they take this mission seriously … and want the best and the best who work with it.
There are many regulatory obstacles they must remove before this is rolled out – even at trial level – but if they do – you have to wonder … who signs up as guinea pigs?!?
