a dump truck hit Gloria and Emilio Estefans Crescent Moon Studios in West Miami-Dade on Monday morning.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said two people were injured in the accident at Southwest 40th Street and 62nd Avenue and taken to an area hospital. Two others had minor injuries.
Rescuers say that the truck collided with an SUV before he hit the building.
A corner post seemed badly missing. It was not clear whether the interior of the studio complex was damaged.
Come up on the phone, confirmed a woman at the studio that it had been hit, but not given further details.
The studio stood behind a locked gate and no one replied to the clock Monday afternoon. Music producer Emilio Estefan and his representative did not immediately respond to a request for more information.
Daughter Emily Estefan has her own studio inside the complex. She recorded her debut album there two years ago.
