Dow closes higher after another sign of easing inflation
Stocks closed higher on Thursday after new data showed supplier prices fell in March from last month, the latest sign that inflation is slowing – albeit slowly. The Nasdaq led the indexes higher, while nine of the S&P 500’s 11 sectors rose.
The cryptocurrency market is seeing more action, with bitcoin prices trading above $30,000 for the first time since June 2022. Meanwhile, gold is nearing record highs.
