(CNN) – The US Food and Drug Administration warned that Dollar Tree could sell "potentially unsafe drugs" and cosmetics.
In a letter dated November 6 to the dealer, the FDA cited Chinese manufacturers who did not test products. It also mentioned a plant where rodent faeces were found.
According to the agency, Dollar Tree was notified during 2016 and this year about warning letters sent to manufacturers the company has relationships with.

The executive said in the statement Dollar Tree is committed to customer safety and plans to meet with the FDA soon.
The FDA has instructed Dollar Tree to respond to the letter within 1[ads1]5 days and to detail what they have done to resolve their violations.
