Disney Plus: Every show and movie you can definitely stream

  the-mandalorian

Mandalorian, a large budget Star Wars spinoff with Pedro Pascal, becomes one of the Disney Plus original series available at the launch in November.

Disney

In an epic three-hour presentation, Disney presented a comprehensive catalog of new and old shows that you will be able to launch from November with the launch of the company's Netflix competitor, Disney Plus .

With the massive libraries of Disney – and now 21st Century Fox – shows and films as candidates for the service, what we know will be included to stream? This is Disney's official list of all shows, movies and release dates it has confirmed.

Disney has become tight about certain exceptions to the service. If you do not see what you are looking for here, it does not necessarily mean that it has been left out of Disney Plus – just what we do not yet know.

In addition, we know that Disney Plus will be an exclusive streaming home for all of Disney's theatrical releases in 2019 and beyond, beginning with Captain Marvel at the launch and later adding the Avengers: Endgame, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Frozen 2, Dumbo, The Lion King, Toy Story 4 and so on.

After many years of streaming streaming on the back seat to protect their big budget blocks and lucrative television models, Disney has made streaming its top priority this year, even restructuring the company around it. And it underlines the lengths that Hollywood is willing to go to respond, in the end, to the growing threat of tech giants like Netflix, Amazon and – soon – Apple .
