‘Disgruntled passenger’ makes bomb threat after missing flight

A “disgruntled passenger”[ads1]; who missed his flight from Las Vegas to Los Angeles was taken into custody after he claimed there was a “possible bomb” in his luggage, police said.
The unruly traveler is said to have made the threat around 2pm on Thursday at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, prompting police to respond.
He reportedly stated that there might be explosives in his luggage aboard JetBlue Flight 879 bound for Los Angeles that he missed, Los Angeles Airport Police told Fox5 Vegas.
Las Vegas police arrested the passenger and notified LAX police of the possible threat, which turned out to be unfounded.
It is not yet clear whether the passenger has been charged.
Flight data shows that the plane, which took off 37 minutes late, landed safely in Los Angeles around 2:02 p.m. local time.
