Donuts fly off the shelves of a small business near Los Angeles, as customers try to help the owner take the time to visit his inferior wife.
KABC TV says John Chhan has met customers at Donut City in Seal Beach every day for the last 30 years. But last year, Chhan's wife, Stella, had a brain anatomy. She recovers in nursing.
Chhan, starting at 4:30, was in the store for long hours, so customers decided that they would give him more time to visit his wife.
The station says that they have come in and popped up donuts of dozens. On Thursday the boards were cleaned at 10:30, so that Chhan could close the shop.
Chhan says he is grateful beyond words.
