Crypto-Twitter juggles censorship, free speech after the launch of & # 39; WeAreAllBitcoin & # 39; campaign
Although the Craig Wright-Calvin Ayre Failure is not completely finished, crypto Twitter has found another root that has put the ethos of crypto-rivalry and Twitters ToS at risk. The user of "@Bitcoin", a Twitter account representing Bitcoin, is in the middle of this mess.
The account at @Bitcoin was found to promote / shill Bitcoin Cash, according to some users, including Peter McCormack, Whale Panda, and Jimmy Song, among others, who did not sit well with others. Jack Dorsey, a Bitcoin supporter and Twitter CEO, may tend to suspend / ban the account once again as people claim the account was sold, contrary to Twitters ToS [Terms of Service].
The screenshot below shows the response from Twitter CEO at the same:

This has shared the crypto community to people who oppose @Bitcoin and people who support him / her / them. People who support the handle believe that the account was not "sold", and that the suspension / ban would be censorship.
Peter McCormack and others expressed their opinion in this matter through their tweets.
1. You are a moron because you continue to explain things I have said. I have never said it will never have 1 billion users, I said I do not think it will have 1 billion users in 25 years.
– Dr. Peter McCormack (@PeterMcCormack) April 21, 2019 [19659009] Whale Panda also said:
"@Bitcoin twitter account will be suspended as @ internet account.
The account was sold as against ToS.
The account is actively involved in fraud. It's really that simple. "But @Bitcoin expressed its opinion too and tweeted:
Last week:" How dare people to resort to strong arm tactics to silence @ hodlonaut? This is against cryptosand "
This week:" @jack Turn off @Bitcoin account! We can not tolerate his message! Reeeeee! "
– Bitcoin (@Bitcoin) April 20, 2019
He also added:
" Unlike most "Bitcoin" accounts, I am talking only about the two most popular versions of Bitcoin, BTC & BCH I categorically ignore "crypto", "blockchain tech" and ICOs. People are not mad at me because I don't tweet about Bitcoin, they are s int because I say the wrong thing. "
This has caused @Bitcoin's audience to start a hashtag" WeAreAllBitcoin ", much like hashtag started in support of Hodlonaut" WeAreAllHodlonaut. "The decision of Twitter has not yet been announced, but Jimmy Songs poll showed that 55% of users voted to suspend the current account.
