MAHWAH, NJ – Dressbarn will close all 650 of its stores, announced Ascena Retail Group Monday.
The women's clothing retailer has locations all over the country.
"For over 50 years, Dressbarn has served women's fashion needs, and we thank all of our dedicated staff for their commitment to Dressbarn and our valued customers. This decision was difficult but necessary, as the boyfriend dress has not operated at an acceptable level of profitability in today's retail, says Steven Taylor, Dressbarn's Chief Financial Officer, in a press release on Monday.
Ascena Retail Group Did not release a closure timeline, and the aforementioned stores and site remain in operation. or the gift voucher rules.
"During the wind process, we will continue to give our customers the same good experience both in store and online, and offer them even better offers and value. We will work to help our employees through the transition and maintain existing relationships with our suppliers, suppliers and other key stakeholders throughout this process, Taylor says.
