Cleveland Public Power is experiencing "fairly wide spread" on the city's west side
CLEVELAND, Ohio – FOX 8 has received multiple calls from people in several neighborhoods about power outages.
The calls have come from people in Tremont, Ohio City and Old Brooklyn.
Cleveland Public Power acknowledged the power outage in a tweet posted just after 1:20 p.m. Saturday.

We are experiencing a fairly wide spread on the western edge. We are in the process of assessing the problem. We will update you on the situation once we have reviewed the details. CPP does not indicate when power will be restored but says it affects 4,500 homes and businesses, but later tweeted the power outage can affect more people.
CPP is currently experiencing a power outage on the west side of Cleveland. About 4,500 customers near the west side may be out of business. The crews are working on this problem. @CityofCleveland
