Chinese authorities suspect that the US parcel delivery company FedEx Corp broke the law by not sending goods from technology company Huawei to their recipients, Xinhua State Friday news agency said.
China's FedEx survey came after the US placed Huawei on a "list of devices" that effectively prevented US-based vendors from serving the company.

Originally, FedEx attributed the failed shipments to a "malfunction", but the authorities found that the explanation "did not meet reality," Xinhua reported.
"In the midst of the investigation, other clues that FedEx broke laws and regulations were discovered," Xinhua reported.
FedEx did not respond to an email request for comment.
