China stocks, Yuan (CNY USD) Jump as Beijing promises more support for economy

Xi Jinping’s promise to revive growth is finally winning over some investors who have been repeatedly burned by China’s economic woes.

Although skeptics pointed to a lack of detail in the latest promises from the ruling Politburo, traders shrugged off weeks of pessimism to drive gains across stocks, corporate debt and the yuan.
