Kroger is recalling four painkillers this week due to the packages not having a childproof closure. Kroger announced on Thursday a recall of Kroger Low Dose Aspirin (0004126001295), Kroger Ibuprofen Softgels (0004126001298), Kroger Acetaminophen26000itis Paaminophen260018 Art. and Kroger Acetaminophen Extended Release (0004126001287). The company said in addition to the packaging not having a childproof closure, that the packages do not have a label indicating “this package for households without young children.” According to Kroger, this poses a risk of poisoning if the contents are swallowed by young children.
