Car crashed into Williamston Dollar Tree, police say
Williamston police say a woman is OK after she crashed into a Dollar Tree store. It happened at the store on Greenville Drive around 9 p.m. Monday. Lt. Jody Culberston says a woman was in the subway drive-thru next door. Somehow the gas pedal got stuck when she backed up, according to Culberston. The driver then crossed a grassy center line between the two businesses and crashed through the Dollar Tree window. Fortunately, no one was injured. The crash is under investigation by the Williamston Police Department.
